The purpose of FM Online is to keep the DoD workforce informed and serves as the online source for significant items of interest for the DoD FM community. FM Online also links to FM myLearn, which is a gateway to professional FM professional development and training opportunities across the Department. FM myLearn can be accessed through FM Online and provides an e-catalog view of Financial Management training and professional development opportunities from across DoD, including Army, Navy and Marine Corps, Air Force, Defense Agencies, and DoD FM schools.
To access the FM Online website the user must have a DoD issued Common Access Card (CAC) and use Government Furnished Equipment that has a CAC reader. If you are a DoD military/civilian/contractor with a CAC and are having difficulty connecting to the FM Online website, please contact your Component's IT support office for assistance.

I am unable to access the website with my CAC with my internal CAC reader – I received my CDFM-A under my previous last name Pletcher – my CAC is now reflecting my married legal last name of Van Dornick – it this the problem?
Will DOD enable users to access ADLS and FMmylearn from non-military networks? Or does DOD assume that Traditional Guardsmen will spend their whole UTA completing FM certification, CETs, and all the other ancillary CBTs instead of performing their FM functions?
I agree with the point Dan ismaking above — will we be able to gain access to the website to work on Cert at home if desired? We have way too many other priorities to work on during the work day. Does some one know status on this possibility or fact?
How does DoD expect FMs to complete this certification at work? I certainly don’t have time. I rarely have time to eat lunch. If I could access this from home without my CAC that would be great.

For those of you who want to do this at home – you’re violating the law unless your supervisor is going to authorize and pay your compt/overtime. Because this is a mandatory program, management HAS to allow you time ON THE JOB to complete this – no exceptions.
I too am frustrated in that I can’t even access the site from home and I have a CAC reader. Wouldn’t it be nice if we were afforded the time to complete all this at work. I don’t mind doing it at home, just want to be able to log in and get to where I need to be without frustration. Can any one assist?

There needs to be an option to do this from home. There are too many disruptions in the workplace. This is something that can be done while teleworking.

Yes, you can access the training from your home computer using a CAC card reader and using the web browser goggle chrome. Good Luck!!!
So, I’ve tried multiple times on both a home MAC and Dell Netbook, with a CAC reader, and have had no success accessing either of the links provided above. I have been trying to take courses all week at work (U.S. Installation) to complete my FM Cert but the courses haven’t been loading so no success there. Any insight anyone can provide in helping me access this stuff at home would be tremendous!

This whole process is ridiculous. having to take courses on subjects I will NEVER perform. On top of this everyone is now required to have a IDP in place. I too am completely overtasked as it is. Other responsibilities will have to be put aside to complete this training. Nothing I can do about it, I am one person and DOD obviously didn’t put much thought as to how this was going to affect the end users.
I’ve made many attempts to login at work, home, library, etc…my success rate is below 50%. I’ve completed 7 OUSD(C) course work; however, after completing each exams/scored above required 70%; the system does not record my completion and I’ve taken each test twice; receive no certificate and no results reflected as if I took the exam. How can I retrieve my results.
I agree home users cannot access the above website, especially overseas. Is there an alternate IP address.
OUSDC should use the same url requirements as Defense Acquisition University.
I was in the middle of doing course-FIAR 301, but accidently the window was closed. Once I tried to get back to continue the course, the screen shows “404-File or directory not found.” Please advice on it.
